1952 farmal tractor up-cycling

My brother and I are first generation farmers in British Columbia, Canada. We started our farm business 4 years ago. We Operate on rented fields where we grow 30 acres of sweet corn. While some equipment is only available new, we have a keen eye for unused equipment on market place and in our neighbours farmyards. Our favourite days are the ones we spend in the shop repairing something we got for cheap or free. We call it up-cycling, re-cycling, restoring, or “just making it work”. The first thing I do every time is grab a can of WD-40 and spray every bolt or nut we could possibly need to touch. Our big project this spring was putting a 1952 Farmal Super-A offset tractor back to work. Thanks to our plentiful cans of WD-40 and patience we have been able to bring it up to working speed without any new parts.
