How to Play
YOU COULD WIN $10,000 IN PRIZES BY SHARING YOUR REPAIR IT PROJECT! IT'S EASY. JUST FOLLOW THE FEW STEPS BELOW:
Step 1: Register by entering your email address or by using your Facebook or Google account. When registering using an email address, you will receive a confirmation email. Simply click on the link to validate your email address. The email address must be validated for an entry to be submitted.
Step 2: Choose a title for your project then explain it in the description section. You can also choose the "step by step" format to outline specific stages of the project and how WD-40 helped you. Remember, more detail is better!!
Step 3: Use the "Load media file" button, upload photos or videos of your project in progress and when completed. With the "step by step" format you can attach a photo or a video with each step.
Step 4: After reviewing and submitting your project, you will receive an email to confirm the content that you have entered as part of the submission. Content must be confirmed to qualify as an official submission.
Step 5: Upon submission, your project content will be moderated. You will be notified via email if your submission has been accepted or rejected into the contest. Approved submissions will be featured on the Gallery page for public viewing.
Step 6: Accepted submissions are automatically eligible for entry into both the weekly sweepstakes and the judged prizes. More submissions = More chances to win!!!
Judging of entries will be based on the following:
- Up to 60% for photographic and video content, showcasing the before AND after condition of the project/item repaired, and clearly showing the item(s) repaired,
- Up to 15% for showcasing a WD-40 Brand product in use,
- Up to 10% for a description of the project clearly identifying the steps taken to repair, and
- Up to 15% for overall quality of the content.
- All judging decisions are final.
