1988 VW Cabriolet “Joanne”

This is my fully restored 1988 VW Cabriolet! Her name is “Joanne”, named after my grandmother who passed away 5 years ago. This was originally her car, and it sold to someone outside the family shortly after her death. After 4 years of sitting in the mud next to a barn, I found the buyer and offered to buy it back. I’ve now spent hundreds of hours restoring the entire vehicle back to its 88’ glory, but it would have been impossible without WD40 and WD40 degreaser! It’s not only my dream car, but also a nostalgic reminder of one of the most important people in my life. Come and visit “Joanne” next time you’re on Vancouver Island!
