Bringing My Car Back to Life!

My car is over 15 years old and it was time to finally take care of the failing paint protection film on the hood. One day I noticed that the film was peeling up and a ton of dirt and grime was building up from the glue left behind. I decided to try and pull the film off, thinking I could easily remove the glue. Boy was I wrong. It felt like the glue was impenetrable, and after a while I gave up thinking it would take all weekend to tackle the entire hood. After a few months of looking at this eyesore, I knew I needed a solution. So I gave some WD-40 a try. I sprayed the WD-40 on a microfiber cloth and applied it to a freshly washed car. I started rubbing the glue in a circle motion working the WD-40 in. Very quickly, the glue began to loosen and lift off the paint. Within a few short minutes I had gotten that stubborn patch off the hood. I continued peeling off the remaining paint protection film and removed the glue with WD-40. It didn't take long until the entire hood was sparkling clean. Thanks to WD-40, what would have taken endless hours of scrubbing was completed with ease in less than 1 hour.
