My lawnmower would not start this year. It is battery operated, and looked destined for the dump. But I cleaned all the vents in the bottom, used WD-40 on the contacts where the batteries go in, and also on the wheels. I popped the batteries in and it works like new. Saved a bundle thanks to WD-40.
