Miata Paint Job

Miata Paint Job

I’m no auto body tech, but it’s good enough for me! Haha. It’s a 1991 Mazda Miata that was starting to show some age. Was repainted a few years before I bought it in 2015. Had some rust, chipping and flaking paint and a bit of fading. Removed bumpers, and to help I used WD40 on the rusty bolts and screws, and prepped and painted the car. It’s not perfect, but I am happy that it’s not the absolute worst and I was able to do it myself! So with a little bondo on a couple areas, some WD40 and some rust oleum spray paint I took on the project myself and am happy with it! Looks great at 50 feet or more away, up close you can see my happy little accidents as Bob Ross would say haha. Either way I did help extend the life of the car, and it puts a smile on my face!
