New House, Toddler Needs A Play Place

We just moved into a new house with a massive back yard and obviously with moving from an apartment condo into a full size house, you end up having to buy quite a few things. So I searched high and low for a cheap play place for my son on Facebook Marketplace and low and behold I found one a guy was giving away for free. The catch was I had to dismantle, throw in my truck, take home and rebuild. I always keep a can of WD-40 penetrating spray in my truck for whenever I may need. (i.e. seized rotors haha) Well it came in handy for the anchor bolts and nuts that were extremely rusty and seized supporting the structure. With the help of the penetrating spray I was able to get them all out. Here’s the picture of the before and after. I’m a self employed roofer by trade who dabbles in a variety of things construction related. Rebuilt the base, replaced a rotten railing on the back side, haven’t connected the roof tarp because I’m going to be sheeting the roof and installing shingles on it this weekend. I need to build a shed and a whole whack of renovations for our home which was built in ‘75. That 10k would sure go a long way for my young family and I. Cheers!
