Rejuvenated Favorite Sneakers

I like leather…especially soft leather shoes. My well worn shoes that seen many adventures were looking little shabby. I didn’t want to part with them, they are super comfy but just needed a good cleaning. To repair, reduce and recycle is the new way to be more proactive what lands in landfills and do many things we can upcycle. 1. I sprayed WD -40 directly on my well used but well loved shoes. I left it on about 15 minutes. 2. I checked for run off and excess because I used a good long couple of sprays.I gave them a good wipe. What I noticed immediately was the softness of the leather. There was no more dried cracking noise or squeak. The stains were removed, dirt, dust and grime in the cracks. The soft shine of the could be seen right away. They are white, glossy and ready for another spring summer and fall of adventuring! WD did wonders and saved me some money and saved a spot maybe in. Landfill?
