Running Smooth

I have one of the older type of electric fireplaces. I love older things and I loved this fireplace I salvaged. There was a problem not with the heat but with the fan. It would make such terrible screaychy noises off and on and lately more noise than usual, so…1. I took it apart and 2. Cleaned the fan and sprayed the Beirings with WD-40. I let that sit for about an hour. 3 cleaned the excess, listened for smooth running of the fan! Happy easy to do but what improvement! Now I can enjoy the peaceful fireplace not the angry one, doesn’t take much to repair with quality products and a bit patience for repair!
